The stakes are being raised in mid-2007 with several new and exciting tours being added to the calendar:

'Storming the Cape' Tour

This proposed eight-day tour will take us from Gauteng through the Eastern and Western Cape, along the spectacularly beautiful and challenging "Route 62".

Southwestern Heritage Tour

A planned six-day development of the existing Southwest Breakaway tour, this journey will take us on a wild loop around Lesotho, returning to Gauteng through Bloemfontein, Kimberley and the Groot Marico district of the Northwest Province.

The ''Iron Butt'' Africa Heritage Tour

Warning: This one is definitely for those with nerves (and buns) of steel!...

This thirteen-day tour will cover every major attraction seen in Atreus CrossTours' existing lineup, as it takes us from Midrand in Gauteng, through Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Swaziland*, KwaZulu Natal, Lesotho*, the Free State, the Eastern, Western and Northern Cape provinces, before looping back to Gauteng via the Northwest Province. It includes two 'rest' days for you to catch your breath, before hopping back into the saddle for some more mind-blowing action!

With an estimated distance of well over 4 000 Km, this will surely be the motorcycle adventure to end all South African motorcycle adventures.

Those with the fortitude to finish this tour will receive a framed, individually-numbered Iron Butt certificate as an extra memento of the part they played in this great adventure.

Cross-border tours:

Tours are also being planned which will take the more intrepid traveller across South Africa's Northern borders into Namibia*, Botswana* and Mozambique*. Please bookmark this site and visit regularly for more details!

*: Valid visas and South African passports are required to pass through these territories.
